Rear Climate Control Unit Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the rear console panel. (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the screws.

  4. Remove the rear climate control unit and rear ventilator grille from the rear console panel.
  5. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the positions shown in the figure and move it in the direction of the arrows (1), and detach the tabs.

  6. Remove the rear climate control unit from the rear ventilator grille.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
