DTC B1D99:14 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Front roof link motor (RH) circuit malfunction |
| Detection condition |
- The retractable hardtop control module cannot receive a signal from the front roof link motor (RH) while the front roof link motor (RH) is operating.

| Fail-safe |
- Stops retractable hardtop operation
|
| Possible cause |
- Retractable hardtop control module power supply circuit malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 1A and battery positive terminal
- CABIN+B 50 A fuse malfunction
- RHT R 30 A fuse malfunction
- Open circuit in wiring harness between retractable hardtop control module terminal 1A and battery positive terminal
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 3F and front roof link motor (RH) terminal A
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 3J and front roof link motor (RH) terminal E
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 3F and front roof link motor (RH) terminal A
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 3J and front roof link motor (RH) terminal E
- Front roof link motor (RH) malfunction
- Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
