DTC B1D9A:23 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description	Front roof link motor (LH) pulse input circuit malfunction
Detection condition	The retractable hardtop control module cannot detect a pulse signal from the front roof link motor (LH) when the front roof link motor operation starts.
Fail-safe	Stops retractable hardtop operation
Possible cause	Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4T and front roof link motor (LH) terminal D Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4S and front roof link motor (LH) terminal B Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals: Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4T and front roof link motor (LH) terminal D Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4V and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4T and front roof link motor (LH) terminal D Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4S and front roof link motor (LH) terminal B Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4V and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F Line-to-line short circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals: Front roof link motor (LH) terminal D and front roof link motor (LH) terminal B Front roof link motor (LH) terminal D and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F Front roof link motor (LH) terminal B and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F Front roof link motor (LH) malfunction Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
