DTC B1D9A:23 (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection condition |
- The retractable hardtop control module cannot detect a pulse signal from the front roof link motor (LH) when the front roof link motor operation starts.

- Stops retractable hardtop operation

| Possible cause |
- Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4T and front roof link motor (LH) terminal D
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4S and front roof link motor (LH) terminal B
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4T and front roof link motor (LH) terminal D
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4V and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F
- Open circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4T and front roof link motor (LH) terminal D
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4S and front roof link motor (LH) terminal B
- Retractable hardtop control module terminal 4V and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F
- Line-to-line short circuit in wiring harness between the following terminals:
- Front roof link motor (LH) terminal D and front roof link motor (LH) terminal B
- Front roof link motor (LH) terminal D and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F
- Front roof link motor (LH) terminal B and front roof link motor (LH) terminal F
- Front roof link motor (LH) malfunction
- Retractable hardtop control module malfunction
