DTC U3000-4B: Blind Spot Monitoring Control Module: Notes

CAUTION:
  • When replacing a blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (RH) having any of the following part numbers, it is necessary to replace the blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) at the same time to perform the configuration normally.
    • N243-67Y80 A
    • N243-67Y80 B
    • N243-67Y80 C
Description Temperature temporarily increases depending on various external and environmental factors (blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) or (RH))
Detection condition 
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module internal temperature of 115 °C {239 °F} or more  detected for 10 s or more  with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe 
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) system is stopped.
Possible cause 
  • Temporary rise in temperature due to some external environment factor
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (RH) malfunction
  • Blind spot monitoring (BSM) control module (LH) malfunction
