Position Memory Control Module Removal/Installation (Us)

  1. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor. (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Perform the following procedure.
    1. Switch the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  3. Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
  4. Disconnect the position memory control module connector.

  5. Remove the screws.
  6. Remove the position memory control module.
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  8. If the position memory control module is replaced, perform the position memory system memory clearing. (See POSITION MEMORY SYSTEM MEMORY CLEARING .)
  9. If the position memory control module is replaced, perform the seat position initial learning. (See SEAT POSITION INITIAL LEARNING .)
