Connector Inspection

CAUTION: For Mazda M Hybrid vehicles only 
  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
  2. Disconnect the ground plate. (For servicing Mazda M Hybrid related parts)
  3. Disconnect the applicable connector.
    NOTE:
    • For the connector disconnection procedure, refer to the removal/installation procedure for each part.
  4. Inspect the applicable connector for the following: (See ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (US) .)
    • Connector engagement and connection condition
    • Damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection of terminal
      • If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the malfunctioning location.
