DTC U2030:00 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Calibration data communication error with forward sensing camera (FSC)
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the forward sensing camera (FSC) cannot receive the calibration data from the vehicle control module (VCM) for 10 s.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • Depending on the module, after the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) or OFF, there is a module that needs 30 s to correctly write the calibration data and configuration data.
  • Calibration error
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) stores DTCs.
    • Vehicle control module (VCM) or body control module (BCM) communication error or internal malfunction
  • DTCs are stored in the forward sensing camera (FSC).
  • CAN circuit communication error between vehicle control module (VCM) and forward sensing camera (FSC)
  • Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
