Headlight Leveling Actuator Operation Check Mode [Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module]

  1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
  2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
  3. Turn on the headlights.
  4. Perform the vehicle identification.
  5. Perform the following procedure using the M-MDS.
    1. Press [Start] for the vehicle identification.
    2. Press the [Toolbox] tab.
    3. Press the [Work Support] icon.
    4. Press [LIGHT SYSTEMS].
    5. Press [Run] for [Simulation Testing for Headlight Leveling Actuator].
  6. Verify that the headlight optical axis lowers from the current position and returns the original position after 2 s.
