Headlight Leveling Actuator Operation Check Mode [Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module]

- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).
- Turn on the headlights.
- Perform the vehicle identification.
- Perform the following procedure using the M-MDS.
- Press [Start] for the vehicle identification.
- Press the [Toolbox] tab.
- Press the [Work Support] icon.
- Press [LIGHT SYSTEMS].
- Press [Run] for [Simulation Testing for Headlight Leveling Actuator].
- Verify that the headlight optical axis lowers from the current position and returns the original position after 2 s.
- If the headlight leveling actuator does not operate normally, replace the front combination light. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
