Diagnostic Procedure

DTC U2300:56 (AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Inspection Results Action
1 VERIFY BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTCs 
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the body control module (BCM). (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is a DTC displayed?
 Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No Go to the next step.
2 RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FOR BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) 
  • Using the M-MDS, perform the body control module (BCM) configuration. (See CONFIGURATION .)
  • Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.
  • Perform the DTC inspection for the auto leveling control module. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Is the same Pending DTC present?
 Yes Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, replace the auto leveling control module and perform the repair completion verification. (See AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
No Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification VERIFY IF OTHER DTC IS DISPLAYED 
  • Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION .)
  • Are any other DTCs displayed?
 Yes Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No DTC troubleshooting completed.
