Revolution Sensor Removal/Installation: Notes

Replacement Part 

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
2. Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Drain the manual transaxle oil. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL REPLACEMENT [C66M-R] .)
4. Remove the revolution sensor using the following procedure.

   1. Disconnect the revolution sensor connector.
   2. Remove the revolution sensor and O-ring as a single unit.
   3. Remove the O-ring from the revolution sensor.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See REVOLUTION SENSOR INSTALLATION NOTE .)
