Rear Accessory Socket Removal/Installation
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- D-pillar trim (See D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear buckle (LH). (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear center seat belt anchor. (See REAR BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side trim (LH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- While pressing the cap tab in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure below using a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver, press the rear accessory socket in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the cap tab from the rear accessory socket.
- Detach all the tabs of the cap from the rear accessory socket and remove the rear accessory socket from the cap.
- While pressing the cap tabs in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure below, press the cap in the direction of the arrow (2) to detach the cap tabs from the trunk side trim (LH).
- Remove the cap from the trunk side trim (LH).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
