U2300: 55 (ALH/AFS/ALV) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Configuration error (no configuration)
Detection condition Determination conditions
  • The auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module received a signal which indicates the body control module (BCM) configuration is not performed.
Preconditions
  • Not applicable
Malfunction determination period
  • Not applicable
Fail-safe
  • The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
  • Perform the following controls with the adaptive LED headlights turned on. (with adaptive LED headlights)
    • Turn off glare-free high beam.
    • Set wide-range low beam as basic light distribution.
Vehicle status when DTCs are output
  • Not applicable
Possible cause
  • Inappropriate previous module replacement procedure
  • Configuration data writing error
  • DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM).
  • Body control module (BCM) malfunction
  • Auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module malfunction
