DTC U250B-41: Error Signal Received From Body Control Module (BCM) [Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module]

U250B: 41 (ALH/AFS/ALV) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Error signal received from body control module (BCM)
Detection condition
  • The auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module received error signal (sum error) from the body control module (BCM).
Fail-safe
  • The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.
  • Turn off adaptive LED headlights.
  • Turn off wide-range low beam.
Possible cause
  1. DTCs are stored in the body control module (BCM). (See DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
  2. Body control module (BCM) malfunction (Refer to applicable BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in the service information.)
  3. Auto leveling control module/adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module/adaptive LED headlights control module malfunction (Refer to applicable ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in the service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (see CLEARING DTC .)
