Visual inspection

NOTE:

Perform the procedure with the EPS control module removed. (See STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

Visually inspect the EPS control module for damage and the connector for damage or corrosion.
- There is damage or corrosion
  - Repair or replace the malfunctioning location. (See STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- No damage or corrosion
  - The EPS control module is normal, therefore the inspection is completed.
