Visual inspection

NOTE:

Perform the procedure with the power liftgate control module removed. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).

Visually inspect the power liftgate control module for damage and the connectors for damage or corrosion.
- There is damage or corrosion
  - Repair or replace the malfunctioning location. (See POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- No damage or corrosion
  - The power liftgate control module is normal, therefore the inspection is completed.
