Perform Sensor Initialization Procedure For DSC-related Parts
WARNING:
- If the initialization of the sensors for DSC-related parts is not completed, the DSC will not operate normally which could lead to an unexpected accident. Therefore, if the electronically controlled brake unit or the SAS control module is replaced or removed/installed, always perform the initialization of the sensors for the DSC related parts so that the DSC will operate normally.
NOTE:
- Perform initialization on the sensors shown in the following table according to the part to be replaced and removed/installed.
SENSOR INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE FOR DSC-RELATED PARTS

- Park the vehicle on level ground.
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Perform vehicle identification.
- Select the [Toolbox] tab.
- Select the [Work Support] icon.
- Select [BRAKES].
- Perform initialization of the following sensors according to the part to be replaced or removed/installed.
- [Initial Setting of Lateral G Sensor for DSC]
- [Initial Setting of Longitudinal G Sensor for DSC]
- [Initial Setting of Pressure Sensor for DSC]
- [Initial Setting of Yaw Rate for DSC]
- Perform the servicing following the instructions on the screen.
- Drive the vehicle.
- Drive the vehicle for 5 min and verify that there is no malfunction in the DSC system.
