Engine Oil Level Sensor Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the cowl grille cover (RH). (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  3. Open the capsule cover. (See CAPSULE COVER OPEN/CLOSE [H3T] .)
  4. Remove the oil filler cap. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT [H3T] .)
  5. Remove the front under cover No. 3. (See FRONT UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Drain the engine oil. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT [H3T] .)
  7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

    TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

    Step Part name
    1 Connector -
    2 Bolt 9 N.m {92 kgf.cm, 80 ft.lbf}
    3 Engine oil level sensor -
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  9. Refill with the following type and amount of engine oil.
  10. Install the oil filler cap. (See ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT [H3T] .)
  11. Inspect the oil level. (See ENGINE OIL LEVEL INSPECTION [H3T] .)
