Front Brake Disc Pad Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
- When replacing the disc pads, if a shim or guide plate is rusted, deformed, or weakened, replace the shim or guide plate with a new one. Otherwise, the disc pads may not grip properly.
Replacement Part

Oil and Chemical Type
| Brake grease (Brown-gray) Type: PLASTILUBE |
Brake grease (White) Type: KLUBER |
- Remove the wheel and tire. (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, depress the brake pedal a few times, rotate the wheel by hand, and verify that the brake does not drag.
