Function Inspection
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
- Display the PIDs TP1 and TP2. (Refer to [ PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION ] in the troubleshooting information.) (See PCM INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
- Compare the voltage and opening angle indications for the PIDs TP1 and TP2 with the standard in the table indicated below.
- If they do not match the standard, replace the PCM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
- If they match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See VOLTAGE INSPECTION .)
