Test 26: RCL Control Module Output Deactivation (SL320 & SL500)
- Connect adapter harness and breakout box to RCL control module. Ensure all doors are closed and locked. Disconnect central locking system vacuum supply pump, located at right side of trunk. Measure voltage between terminals No. 23 and 27 at breakout box. Unlock vehicle by pointing remote transmitter at any vehicle receiver and depressing transmitter button.
- Ensure vehicle unlocks. Battery voltage should exist for about .6 second and Green indicator lights should blink. If voltage is as specified and Green indicator lights blink, output deactivation is okay at this time. If voltage is not as specified and Green indicator lights do not blink, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Perform TESTS 3, 4, TEST 6 through TEST 8, TEST 10 through TEST 12 and TEST 14 under SYSTEM TESTS. Check RCL control module.
