Test 21: DAS Control Module Input Circuit SN1 (All Except SL320 & SL500)

  1. Connect adapter harness and breakout box to DAS control module. Ensure all doors are closed and locked. Measure voltage between terminals No. 15 and 22 at breakout box (DAS control module connector No. 1, terminal No. 1 and connector No. 1, terminal No. 8). Battery voltage should exist. If voltage is as specified, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified, perform TEST 1 under SYSTEM TESTS. Check RCL control module.
  2. Unlock vehicle by pointing remote transmitter at left front door receiver and depressing transmitter button. Voltage should be less than one volt and Green indicator lights should blink. If voltage is as specified and Green indicator lights blink, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified and Green indicator lights do not blink, perform TESTS 1 and 19 under SYSTEM TESTS. Check left front door receiver. Check RCL control module.
  3. Unlock vehicle by pointing remote transmitter at right front door receiver (if equipped) and depressing transmitter button. Voltage should be less than one volt and Green indicator lights should blink. If voltage is as specified and Green indicator lights blink, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified and Green indicator lights do not blink, perform TESTS 1 and 19 under SYSTEM TESTS. Check right front door receiver. Check RCL control module.
  4. Unlock vehicle by pointing remote transmitter at trunk lid receiver and depressing transmitter button. Voltage should be less than one volt and Green indicator lights should blink. If voltage is as specified and Green indicator lights blink, go to next step. If voltage is not as specified and Green indicator lights do not blink, perform TESTS 1 and 19 under SYSTEM TESTS. Check trunk lid receiver. Check RCL control module.
  5. Unlock vehicle by pointing remote transmitter at interior rear view mirror receiver (if equipped) and depressing transmitter button. Voltage should be less than one volt and Green indicator lights should blink. If voltage is as specified and Green indicator lights blink, DAS control module input circuit SN1 is okay at this time. If voltage is not as specified and Green indicator lights do not blink, perform TESTS n1, 2 and 19 under SYSTEM TESTS. Check interior rear view mirror receiver. Check DAS and RCL control module.
