IFI [ERE] electrohydraulic shutoff actuator location At the suction gallery of the inline injection pump (10)
IFI [ERE] electrohydraulic shutoff actuator task When the engine is turned off, the fuel pump extracts the fuel from the suction gallery of the inline injection pump (10) via the IFI (ERE) electrohydraulic shutoff actuator (Y1/1). To ensure fuel supply to the inline injection pump when the ignition is switched to "ON", during engine starts and while the engine is running
IFI [ERE] electrohydraulic shutoff actuator design Consists of a housing (19/5) containing the magnet armature (Y1/1a), two ball valves (19/4), a valve rod (19/6), a return spring (19/3) and a fuel temperature sensor
