Test 18: Convenience Unlock Signal From Transmitter To Passenger Door Control Module

Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located in engine bay. Monitor door control module readings. Point transmitter key at passenger's door handle and unlock vehicle and continue to hold transmitter unlock button. If YES is displayed on HHT, system is okay. If NO is displayed on HHT check transmitter batteries. Transmitter may be defective.
