  Prechamber task
  • To receive the Nozzle holder assembly (injection nozzle and nozzle holder)
  • To optimize combustion

  Prechamber design   GF07.13-P-3117-01H
Prechamber function The fuel injected into the prechamber (120) ignites and partially combusts. The pressure generated by this partial combustion forces the uncombusted fuel rapidly into through the prechamber orifices (120/3) located in the prechamber neck (120/2) and into the main combustion chamber.
The shape and position of the ball pin (120/1) together with the oblique injection (A) result in optimum fuel combustion.
