Preparation For Function Test

- Check fuses and replace as necessary. Check in-vehicle temperature sensor ventilation fan by placing a small piece of paper (1/2" square) over fan vent grille with ignition on. Vent grille is located near dome light. If sufficient ventilation is present, paper will remain on vent grille. If not, check ventilation fan voltage supply.
- Put shift lever in "P" and engage parking brake. Run engine until operating temperature is reached. Outside air temperature must be more than 58°F (15°C). Leave engine at idle during function test. Ensure economy mode is not selected. Manually open center and side air outlets. Ensure recirculation button is not depressed. Adjust blower speed to position No. 3.
