COMAND System Entering Navigation Destination Not Possible with Navigation
SERVICE INFORMATION
CD-ROM DCA6 or DCA11 Release 7/02 If you receive customer reports in the above models of the COMAND system having the following symptom, do not replace any parts. The condition is caused by a faulty CD-ROM image on DCA6, perform the following to resolve.
Condition: After changing Navigation CD-ROM from DCA6 Ohio Valley USA to DCA11 Canada (or vice versa) it is not possible to enter a new City, Street or Center. The Navigation System just will return to the main menu.
Remedy: Select destination from memory or last destination and start route guidance. Cancel route guidance. Now entering a new City, Street or Center is possible.
This will be resolved with CD-ROM release of 2003 (expected in October 2003).
