Function 

The one-touch down feature  allows the windows in the front doors to be opened completely by momentarily pressing (< 0.3 s) the left front power window switch (S21/s1) or the right front power window switch (S21/s2)  to the 2nd catch position.

The all-activity module (N10) recognizes the switch actuation and actuates the left front power window relay (F1k18) or right front power window relay (F1 k16) via an integrated timer element.

The actuated relay connects the corresponding power window motor  to circuit 30 for a duration of t = 4 s (as of 12.99: t = 6 s) via the convenience relay (F1 k14)  30

If the switch is not actuated again during the switch-on duration, the window is opened completely.

Actuating the switch again stops the motor.

Lock-up protection 

Since the motors are actuated for max. 6 s, special lock-up protection is not required.
