Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL500 and 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL500. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Turn ignition off. Insert special keys into A/C push button control module base. Press back retaining springs and pull control module from dash. Disconnect wiring harness connectors. To install, reverse removal procedure. Perform version coding if not installing original module. See VERSION CODING  under PROGRAMMING.
