Normal Setting In Regulating Mode Function Test

Adjust temperature to present in-vehicle temperature. Press AUTO button. If this mode is operating properly, fan speed will decrease, air will vent from defrost outlets and leak from footwell outlets, A/C compressor will engage, temperature of outlet air will be controlled, and automatic A/C monovalve and auxiliary coolant pump will cycle. If this mode does not operate properly, perform the following tests:
- DTC B1416: COOLANT CIRCULATION PUMP under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
- DTC B1417: AUTOMATIC A/C MONOVALVE under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
- BLOWER REGULATOR CONTROL in MISCELLANEOUS ELECTRICAL TESTS under SYSTEM TESTS.
- DTC B1419: A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
- DTC B1423: SWITCHOVER VALVE BLOCK under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS.
- VACUUM DISTRIBUTOR BLOCK, VACUUM RESERVOIR & SWITCHOVER VALVE BLOCK TESTS and VACUUM ACTUATOR CIRCUIT TEST in VACUUM TESTS under SYSTEM TESTS.
