Coolant temperature sensor position Engine 112, 113 GF07.04-P-5026-02A
    Engine 137 GF07.04-P-5026-02L
    Engine 166 GF07.04-P-5026-02GC
Coolant temperature sensor task Detects the coolant temperature and sends a signal to the engine control unit
Coolant temperature sensor, design Plastic housing with NTC resistor. 2-pin, slanted plug connection.
Inserted into hole and sealed with O-ring.
Mounting over a spring clasp or holder

Coolant temperature sensor function The NTC resistor alters its electrical resistance in line with the coolant temperature. It decreases as the temperature increases.
    Example:
    Coolant temperature Resistor
    20 °C 3100 Ω ±5 %
    80 °C 315 Ω ±55 %
