SERVICE INFORMATION
If you encounter "Display Defective" or diagnostic indicator lamps illuminated after the installation of an instrument cluster on the above-mentioned models, perform the following.
- Ensure that the latest software is installed into STAR Diagnosis.
- Using STAR Diagnosis enter into the following menus and verify that the proper instrument cluster version coding is selected. Control Units -> Information & Communication -> ICM Instrument Cluster with Maintenance Interval Display -> Control Unit Adaptations -> Version Coding -> Coding Specific for Instrument Cluster.
- If the vehicle's specific version coding differs from the table below correct and adapt the appropriate changes.
