Ball Point Position: Checking

Insert measuring device (01) to lower transverse control arm bolted connection and position "0" by means of a plumb on the scale. See Figure under SPECIAL TOOLS. Also, see Fig 1 . Check ball point position with wheels in straight ahead position. Slide on cylindrical part on drag link (arrow). See Fig 2 . If ball point position is not within specification, adjust as necessary. See BALL POINT POSITION SPECIFICATION  table.
