Preparation For Functional Test

  1. Check fuses F1-20, F1-25, F1-26 and F1-38. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  2. Check in-vehicle temperature sensor ventilation fan by placing a small piece of paper over fan vent grille with ignition on. Vent grille is located near dome light. See Figure. If sufficient ventilation is present, paper will remain on vent grille. If not, check ventilation fan voltage supply.
  3. Put shift lever in "P" and engage parking brake. Run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
  4. Manually open center and side air outlets.
  5. Ensure recirculation button is not depressed.
