Test 28: Left Front Power Window Switch

Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located in engine bay. Monitor lower control panel control module readings. Turn ignition on. Press driver's power window switch to down position. DOWN should be displayed on HHT. Press driver's power window switch to down position and hold. AUTO, DOWN should be displayed on HHT. Release switch; "0" should be indicated on HHT. Press driver's power window switch to up position. UP should be displayed on HHT. Press driver's power window switch to up position and hold. AUTO, UP should be displayed on HHT. If readings are not as described, check lower control panel control module. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
