COMPLAINT

Clik Card remote does program properly to Homelink receiver in mirror. But has poor range or loss of range.

CAUSE

The receiver in the SENTEX gate operator receives only in a very narrow frequency range. Due to tolerance in its design, the Homelink transmitter may not always transmit within this frequency range. The mirror will learn the handheld Clik Card transmitter, but when transmitting, it may not operate the SENTEX gate operator.

This issue affects both GEN 3 and GEN 4 models of Homelink mirrors.

GEN 3 models are the mirrors with the single color LED in vehicles up to MY11.
GEN 4 models are the mirrors with the mult color LED in vechicles after MY11 with new programming procedure.

REMEDY

The SENTEX gate operator with Clik Card remotes are not compatible with Homelink.

A "Garage Door Universal Receiver Kit" can be installed on the gate to allow it to operate with Homelink. The kit is available from Homelink.
