Preparation For Chassis Alignment

The vehicle should be checked and adjusted in "ready-to-drive condition". See READY TO DRIVE CONDITION under RIDING HEIGHT.
Check condition of steering mechanism.
Check condition of drag link, tie rods and track rods.
Check condition of rubber boot.
Check condition of tires.
Check condition of rims.
Check tire inflation pressure, refer to table with tire inflation pressures in the fuel filler door and correct the pressures as required.
Inspect wheel bearings for excessive play (without dial gauge).
Check vehicle underbody.
Check overall condition of vehicle.
