On the above model vehicles, starting with the 08/03 STAR DIAGNOSIS CD, the coding of the model, the engine, the body and country variants in the SRS control unit will no longer be necessary. For this reason, the menu item "Coded vehicle data" no longer appears in STAR DIAGNOSIS under "Control unit adaptations".
NOTE:
If the SRS lamp goes out when the restraint systems control unit is put online, the control unit is coded correctly.
