Different performance maps for the engine control can be stored or activated with the correction programming in the ME control unit (N3/10).

The corrective programming can be carried out with STAR Diagnosis (0100) when ignition is "ON", via the data link connector (X11/4).

The following maps can be influenced:

• Ignition maps for adapting to different fuel quality (except )
• Mixture maps for enriching the air/fuel mixture in different operating states (except )
• Idle speed with transmission mode selected
• Fault setting conditions for rendering smooth engine running (recognition less sensitive)
