INSTALL SOFTWARE FOR DYNAMIC AND/OR MULTI-CONTOUR SEAT CONTROL MODULES

This Service Campaign has been initiated because DCAG has determined that the affected vehicles may have possible malfunctions in the multi-contour seat modules which may result in inflation or deflation of the air cushions without obvious cause. Dealers will update the control module software and, if multi-contour seat fault codes are indicated, then replace ONLY the appropriate parts identified for the multi-contour seats.

The software update is 100%, while the part replacement rate is estimated to be less than 1%.

Dealers may order parts as required.

Prior to performing this Service Campaign:

Please note that Recall and Service Campaigns do not expire  and may also be performed on a vehicle with a vehicle status indicator.

Approximately 15 vehicles are affected.
