No particular changeover of dimensional units is to be performed for the trip computer as it takes over the settings and codings of the instrument cluster (A1).

The dimensional units (miles/kilometers) are changed over in the instrument cluster (A1) via the selection "Settings" in the submenu "instrument cluster" in the multifunction display (A1p13) using the multifunction steering wheel (MFL).

The only requirement is to preset the unit of measurement used to monitor the distance (kilometers or miles). The other units that are relevant for the trip computer are then converted automatically.

US-gallons/UK gallons are coded via the national version using STAR DIAGNOSIS.
