TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

NOTE: There are two possible types of TPM system installed in R-Class vehicles: High-Line or Low-Line. For High-Line type systems, whenever tire pressures have been adjusted, the TPM system must be reactivated. New tire pressure sensors are detected automatically. For Low-Line type systems, whenever tire pressures have been adjusted, or if a wheel or tire has been changed, the TPM system must be reactivated.

If the warning light is on and multifunction display shows a TPMS message, immediately check air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. Reactivate TPM system. Drive vehicle for a few minutes to ensure malfunction has been corrected.
