Dynamic lateral support on the dynamic seat, function - GF91.25-P-2013SX
MODEL 216.3, 221.0 /1 with CODE (432) Left and right dynamic multicontour seat up to Model Year 8
Function requirements
- Terminal 15R ON or
- Circuit 15 ON
Function
The dynamic lateral support function is switched on or off via the front central operating unit. The respective display occurs via the COMAND display.
The respective front dynamic seat control unit creates a base pressure in the air cushions and furthermore provides better lateral support when cornering by briefly increasing the pressure in the outer curve air cushions.
This essentially happens as a function of the current vehicle speed and the lateral acceleration.
The intensity and speed of the filling can be set via the front central operating unit.
Function abort
If important information on vehicle speed and lateral acceleration is not received for 2 s while the function is active, the dynamic lateral support is deactivated. It then either has to be activated manually or it becomes active automatically after switching on the ignition again.
