COMPLAINT

Automatic Transmission Program Selector Switch, "M" Program is Not Available

CAUSE

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicle of the "M" (manual) program mode being unavailable, this is related to the wrong central operating unit being installed (component A40/9).

REMEDY

To resolve:

Replace the switch block-central operating unit (A40/9).
Perform a SCN coding of the instrument cluster.
Perform a quick test.

NOTE: The following allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair.
