COMPLAINT

Programming of the SBC control unit is aborted at 20% progress.

In XENTRY DAS the message "An error occurred during control unit programming" appears and fault code P2 F100 K1 E24... is displayed.

CAUSE

Due to a defective electronic component in the SBC module, communication between the SBC module and the SBC control unit (A7/3n1) is not possible. The SBC module is a separate part of the SBC programming adapter special tool kit.

REMEDY

Replace SBC module (see parts ordering note below).

NOTE:

The SBC module is a component of the SBC programming adapter special tool kit (see S-B-58.00/151B ). DO NOT replace the SBC control unit (A7/3n1) or the SBC hydraulic unit (A7/3)!
The fault described is NOT caused by a defect in the SBC control unit (A7/3n1) or in the SBC hydraulic unit (A7/3). The fault cannot be rectified by replacing the SBC hydraulic unit.
