The turbine speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n1) records the rotational speed of a ring gear of the Ravigneaux set for the fully integrated transmission control (VGS).
This rotational speed is processed by the fully integrated transmission control (VGS) control unit (Y3/8n4) as an input signal together with the information from the internal speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n2) and the output speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n3). This contributes to shortening the reaction time during shift operations.
