The turbine speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n1) records the rotational speed of a ring gear of the Ravigneaux set for the fully integrated transmission control (VGS).
Together with the information from the internal RPM sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n2) and the output speed sensor (VGS) (Y3/8n3) this RPM is processed as an input signal by the fully integrated transmission control unit (VGS) (Y3/8n4). This contributes to shortening the reaction time during shift operations.
