Function requirements for the function refrigeration compressor shut-off is that the air conditioning is operating. The CDI control unit (N3/9) receives the message 'COMP_ON' (refrigerant compressor (A9) activated) via the Control Area Network Bus Class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C) from the EIS control unit (N73).

For the following conditions the CDI control unit interrupts actuation of the refrigerant compressor:

Engine speed < 2000 RPM
Value of the accelerator pedal sensor B37 > 95%

If the conditions for the function refrigerant compressor shut-off are no longer fulfilled then the refrigerant compressor is actuated again by the CDI control unit.
