Fuel pressure sensor task Detect fuel system pressure and conduct a corresponding voltage signal to the fuel pump control unit (N118).
Fuel pressure sensor design Inductive measuring cell out of coil, movable anchor and electronics
Fuel pressure sensor function With increasing fuel pressure the anchor moves further into the coil. An electronics detects the inductivity of the measuring cell and gives a signal (approx. 0.5 V at 0 bar; approx. 4.5 V at 9 bar).
