Emergency-P function - GF27.10-P-3029SX
TRANSMISSION 722.9 in MODEL 216, 221 up to Model Year 8
Also in emergency cases, if for example undervoltage prevails in the on-board electrical system or communication with the Intelligent servo module for DIRECT SELECT (A80) is faulty, the Key-P function can still be performed. In these cases an emergency case motor in the Intelligent servo module for DIRECT SELECT is supplied with voltage from the starter battery via the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) (G1/4) and triggers the emergency-P function.
If there is no longer any undervoltage in the on-board electrical system, the emergency-P function is deactivated and the Intelligent servo module for DIRECT SELECT is in the normal operating condition again.
The emergency-P function cannot be canceled mechanically.
