Manual Reset

NOTE: After wheel rotation or sensor replacement, the vehicle must be parked for 20 minutes before attempting to restart the TPM system.
NOTE: Manual TPMS restart is accomplished by using the multifunction display control buttons on the steering wheel.
NOTE: When the TPM system is restarted, the tire pressures set by the driver are adopted by the tire pressure monitoring control unit as the new specified values.
  1. Switch ignition to ON.
  2. Use the RIGHT or LEFT ARROW multifunction display buttons to access the SERVICE menu.
  3. Use the UP or DOWN ARROW menu control buttons to access the TIRE PRESSURE menu.
  4. Press OK.
  5. You will see, in the multifunction display, either:
    • The current inflation pressures for each tire, or
    • The message: USE CURRENT PRESSURE VALUES AS NEW REFERENCE VALUES. To confirm press OK.
  6. Press OK. The message TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RESTARTED should be displayed.
  7. After driving for a few minutes, the system checks whether the current tire pressures are within the specified range. The new tire pressures are then accepted as reference values and monitored.
